Old Mack wonders if this picture is photoshoped or maybe is it a Eric Holder look alike !
For you Englanders who might not know who Eric Holder is...well he is the United States Attorney General. In other words he is a member of the Presidents Cabinet and as head of the Department of Justice is the top law enforcement officer and lawyer for the government.

Re: The horrible death and resurrection of Codename: Mackadamia !
I had a friend who got a BWI (Boating While Intoxicated) while out joyriding in his speed boat...this salty takes it to a whole differant level.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Profit driven Reuters) - The captain of a supply boat was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after his vessel ran aground early on Thursday in Anchorage's small-craft harbor, police said. It appears to be the first case of an alcohol-related marine accident at the port of Anchorage in recent memory, said Lieutenant Dave Parker of the Anchorage Police Department.
The vessel, a 53-foot cargo craft, was steered up onto the harbor's concrete boat ramp, where it was left "high and dry," Parker said. On its way into port, boat also appeared to have struck and damaged an offshore piling, he said. A blood-alcohol test of the captain, Albert Anderson, 57, revealed he was at least one-and-a-half times the legal limit for operating a motor vehicle or water craft, Parker said.
Police are treating the case as a routine drunken-driving incident, albeit one that does not involve a car, he said. No oil spilled and there were no injuries from the accident, Parker said.

Venezuelan militant Carlos the Jackal, who goes on trial in France Monday, boasted in an interview with the daily El Nacional of committing more than 100 attacks that claimed up to 2,000 lives. ...The dapper 62 year-old former member of the leftist Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), whose real name is Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, is already serving a life sentence in France for the murder of two French policemen and an informant in 1975.

My homeboy 'Smoking Joe' has gone to Heaven before his time. I met him at a PAL (Police Athletic League) event and he was a regular guy. He roamed Philly enjoying life and would stop and talk to anyone. He was a true champ !
His family released this statement: "We The Family of the 1964 Olympic Boxing Heavyweight Gold Medalist, Former Heavyweight Boxing Champion and International Boxing Hall of Fame Member Smokin' Joe Frazier, regrets to inform you of his passing. He transitioned from this life as "One of God's Men," on the eve of November 7, 2011 at his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We thank you for your prayers for our Father and vast outpouring of love and support. Respectfully, we request time to grieve privately as a family. Our father's home going celebration will be announced as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding."

Mackaeteers...Old Mack has been busy working on Highway61 so he hasn't been post as much as usual ! Old Mack has been doing good and hasn't had a mental episode in a couple of months now...so that makes him about due for one !
Anyhow for todays bump we have a tib bit inspired by the Daily News:
After a hard day at protesting when a hippy comes home to his tent, nothing helps him relax and unwind like a stiff drink made with Hammer + Sickle Vodka.
The Revolution Will Not Be Compromised:
* It's premium vodka with the purest intentions. Hammer + Sickle delivers a vodka worthy of its Russian heritage with a smooth flavor.
* Hammer + Sickle is characterized by its round, smooth taste and subtle vanilla finish. Enjoy it in its purest form over ice or as an idyllic cornerstone for cocktails.
* Relying on a six-time filtered six-time distilled process utilizing only the finest hand cleared winter wheat from the black earth region, Hammer + Sickle’s carefully crafted formula represents decades of premium vodka making.

Meinhardt Raabe RIP,
Formerly the oldest surviving Munchkin-actor from The Wizard of Oz, he was also the only surviving cast member with any significant dialogue in the film. In addition to his role in the film, Raabe worked for many decades as a spokesman for Oscar Mayer, where he was known as "Little Oscar, World's Smallest Chef".
"As coroner I must aver, I thoroughly examined her, And she's not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead."

After reading this in the Philly newspaper...I think I'm going to try and get me a J O B as a reporter:
Police said other witnesses have ruled out Smith and identified another unidentified suspect.
Identified another unidentified suspect might be grammatically correct BUT it just doesn't sound right and the Police still don't know exactly who they are looking for, they just know who their not looking for now.
I'm going to have to run you in on a 136 !
EDITED TO ADD THIS ZINGER: The officers retreat minutes later with helmets on and batons drawn.

Ever been on the J O B and have people bother you and you had the feeling...just once I'd like to tell this person go F%$# themselves !
This guy took that to another level !
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Greyhound says it plans to discipline a bus driver who abandoned his bus and passengers in southeastern Missouri, about 100 miles from their destination. Passengers told KSDK that the bus was headed from Memphis to St. Louis on Interstate 55 Friday when the driver ordered a passenger off the bus near Sikeston. The driver then pulled over in Cape Girardeau, left and waited for someone to pick her up.
Passengers called 911, and when police arrived they ordered the driver back on the bus. The driver complied but drove to nearby Charleston, and then left again. The passengers called Greyhound, which sent a driver several hours later. The passengers arrived in St. Louis on Saturday, nearly 12 hours late. Greyhound apologized and says refunds will be issued for passengers.

Macks tips on how to have a safe Thanksgiving !
Well Thanksgiving is upon us once again and here are a few of my personal tips to help you have a safe and quite one.
1) First and foremost, stay home and don't invite anyone over. Warn adult children to stay away.
1b) If your single and suicidal, DON'T STAY HOME ALONE....get up and go out anywhere you can.
2) Don't under any cirmustances answer your phone or a knock on your front door.
3) Don't drink alcohol, do any drugs or play with your guns.
4) If you have one, agree with anything your spouse says and avoid any odd behavior towards them.
5) Be patient with your spouse and don't bring up anything bad that happened in the past.
6) Cook your turkey...every year between 136 and 142 Americans die right after Thanksgiving from eating raw turkey.
7) Once dinner is over watch a Disney movie and than go to bed early.
For those of you'se who still believe in praying, remember keep our Troops in mind when you say grace and count your blessings !

November 24th, 2011, marks the 40th anniversary of the legendary Cooper case, an unsolved crime that has baffled agents, detectives and amateur sleuths, and spurned one of the greatest manhunts in law enforcement history.
The FBI’s case file on D.B. Cooper runs some forty feet long. It is located in the basement archives of the Bureau’s field office in Seattle, where for four decades agents have hunted for the man who ransomed a passenger jet for a small fortune and parachutes, then jumped out the back over the rural Northwest, during the middle of a storm, never to be seen again.

Mackateers...somebody should shake this guy and tell him...YOUR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES FOR GODs SAKE !
It's bad enough the President of the United States is hawking some narcissistic apparel BUT a socialist having a sale on Black Friday. Dude it's a real WTF moment ! Instead of selling this stuff he oughta be giving it away to homeless Vets ! BTW: if you notice the sweatshirt doesn't have a tag...probably because it was made in China !
Obama Uses His Twitter Account To Push Black Friday Deals On Obama Merchandise…
Seriously? The guy is President of the United States and he’s reduced himself to pushing swag at 10% off.

SPORTS FANS...THIS IS UNREAL !
How do you keep 70,000+ fans on the sidelines after this BIG WIN !
The post-game celebration Kentucky football fans enjoyed on the Commonwealth Stadium field after Saturday's 10-7 victory over Tennessee will come at a cost to the university. The Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday that UK will be fined $50,000 for a violation of the league's access to competition area policy.
UK was hit with a $25,000 fine last season when fans stormed the field following a 31-28 victory over South Carolina, which ended a 17-game losing streak to Coach Steve Spurrier. Saturday's win ended a 26-game losing streak to Tennessee.
...The amount of the fine, assessed "at the discretion of the commissioner," can escalate with each violation, topping out at $50,000. The policy states that "access to competition areas shall be limited to participating student-athletes, coaches, officials, support personnel and properly-credentialed individuals at all times. For the safety of participants and spectators alike, at no time before, during or after a contest shall spectators be permitted to enter the competition area. It is the responsibility of each member institution to implement procedures to ensure compliance with this policy."
The Southeastern Conference oughta get a grip !!!

Folks... as you may or may not know Old Mack is a bottle collector and some people like to laugh at that. Which I'm not sure why.
They can laugh at this bottle which just went for $777.77. If the economy was better it probaby would have toped out arround $1,000.
Up for bids is an EXTREMELY RARE!!!, Mint!, 1940's, Manufacturer's Sample, 9 3/8" tall, square CREAMTOP quart milk bottle described in 1937 by it's inventor as The Magic Milk Bottle, red pyroglaze DELUXE CREAM SEPARATOR 4 OUNCES CREAM - POUR EITHER MILK OR CREAM ...OR BOTH - CREAM CAN BE WHIPPED! E.S. on the front 2 panels, blank on the back 2 panels.... it's also embossed CREAM SEPARATOR REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. on the shoulder.... this bottle has a very unique & interesting story behind it!!!...
In the 1930's, Belgian immigrant, Emile Scheemaeker ran the E.S. Dairy in Woonsocket Rhode Island and lived in Blackstone Massachusetts - In 1937, he attempted to patent a new design Creamtop milk bottle - claims against the new patent were filed by the Cream Top Bottle Corp. which tied up production of the bottle in court for 12 years! - he did receive a Canadian Patent for the bottle in 1939 but no bottles were ever produced - he received an American DESIGN Patent in 1947 and had about 50 of these SAMPLE bottles made for sales purposes but no orders for bottles for dairy use were submitted (these bottles were made by the Buck Glass Company Baltimore Maryland.
In 1951, the patent was clear for production but unfortunately for Scheemaeker, the Creamtop bottle was virtually obsolete by this time due to Homogenization! and the apparent difficulty cleaning the bottle because of it's odd shape - he was unable or unsuccessful in ever marketing the bottle to the dairy industry.

Re: The horrible death and resurrection of Codename: Mackadamia !
At another website I had a thread why we need more jails which was about throwing the book at repeat offenders, so they never walk the streets again. It really use to upset some of their ultraliberals cyber groupies, who believe with enough social programs hardcore repeat offenders can be changed. (kinda like religious nuts who think homosexuals can be changed with enough prayers) Everyone makes mistakes and Old Mack to once faced some serious jail time. However, I learned from my mistakes and haven't even jaywalked since I got out of that mess. Repeat offenders just keep it up and keep it up and tear at the fabric of society.
I came across this while surfing news sites and it is a great example of what I was talking about.
This is how the article started: A man who tried to rob a mixed martial-arts expert at gunpoint found himself no match for his intended victim this weekend, police said.
Now on to the part relevant to my thread at another website: The victim was able to hold the robber until police arrived. ...After being treated at Holy Cross Hospital, Miranda appeared in Cook County Bond Court Sunday and was ordered held in lieu of $350,000 bail. Miranda, of the 8900 block of Bronx Avenue in Skokie, is on parole in several 2007 residential burglary cases for which he was sentenced to six years in prison. He was released from prison in March 2010. He previously served time for convictions in two 2005 burglary cases.
I know ultraliberals weep for the guy but not me !

Here's another winner: this one is from a story where a guy in Philly delivering pizza, disarmed a robber and killed him with his own gun !Old Mack wrote:After reading this in the Philly newspaper...I think I'm going to try and get me a J O B as a reporter:
Police found two boxes of pizza, a bag of food and blood at the scene.
Some of these 'reporters' are unbelieveable ! This is from a story about a Police Officer who was just killed in the line of duty !
A woman who answered the door at the Crouse home at the end of a three-unit townhouse building Thursday night said it wasn't a good time to talk, and they were trying to get the children to bed. A group of people were sitting around a table inside.
This reminds me of the time a guy was locked up for molesting children. A 'Action News Reporter' knocked on his (like) 90 year old mothers door and asked her if she would like to comment on his arrest ! These people have no shame !
Update: The Policemans killers name was finally given...from that article:
Nobody answered the door at Ashley's parents' home in Spotsylvania County in the northern part of the state. The house was dark and no vehicles were in the driveway. The two-story, log cabin-style home in a semi-rural area sits about 200 yards off the road up a narrow gravel drive.

This one comes from the I know you thought you heard it all, but you didn't Department !!!
BROOKVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in northwestern Pennsylvania say a man published an obituary for his living mother in a ploy to get paid bereavement time off from work. Relatives called The Jeffersonian Democrat newspaper in Brookville after the obit appeared to report the woman was actually alive and well. The woman herself then visited the paper.
Brookville police charged some 45-year-old headcase* on Tuesday with disorderly conduct. Democrat editor Randy Bartley says he accepted the obituary in good faith after being unable to confirm the funeral arrangements at press time. He told The Derrick newspaper on Friday that the woman was very understanding.
Police Chief Ken Dworek says Bennett wrote up the memorial notice because he didn't want to get fired for taking time off.
* I deleted the guys name out of respect for his poor mother

When I was about 18, a frieght train going thru my neighborhood stoped for about 4 hours and some guys broke into it. They hit a boxcar full of beer and it wasn't to long before the word spread thru the nieghborhood. Next thing you know there was a large crowd of drunks down there helping themselves.
Well these guys in Rio Janeiro just made the people from arround my way look like boyscouts and took train robbing to a whole new level !
RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Police in Brazil's southeastern Sao Paulo state are investigating the theft of 50 metric tons (55 U.S. tons) of corn from a moving train. A police report says the thieves greased the train tracks, making the wheels of the 54-wagon locomotive skid and slow down before they used a tow truck with a hook to remove the corn-filled containers. The report says the theft occurred as the train traveled through a rural area about 180 miles (300 kilometers) north of the capital.

By John prine: It was Christmas in prison and the food was real good, we has turkey and pistols carved out of wood.
I dream of her always even when I don't dream, her name's on my tongue and her blood's in my strings.
Wait a while eternity, Old Mother Nature's got nothin' on me.
Come to me, run to me, come to me now, I'm rollin' my sweetheart, I'm flowin' by God.
She reminds me of a chess game with someone I admire or a picnic in the rain after a prairie fire.
Her heart is as big as this whole goddamn jail and she's sweeter than saccharine at a drug store sale.
Wait a while eternity, Old Mother Nature's got nothin' on me.
Come to me, run to me, come to me now, I'm rollin' my sweetheart, I'm flowin' by God.
The search light in the big yard turns 'round with the gun and spotlights the snowflakes like the dust in the sun.
It's Christmas in prison there'll be music tonight, I'll probably get homesick, I love you, good night.
Chattanooga resident and United States Air Force Colonel Roger Ingvalson, a decorated war hero who spent 1742 days in captivity in the Vietnamese prison known as the Hanoi Hilton, passed away at Erlanger Hospital on the afternoon of Christmas Eve.

Here's another one: BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Two mortars hit an Iranian dissident camp in Iraq just days after Baghdad extended a year-end deadline for the camp to be closed as the U.N. negotiated resettlement of 3,000 residents there, the Iraqi military said Sunday. The mortars landed on Camp Ashraf, home to the People's Mujahideen Organization of Iran.Old Mack wrote:After reading this in the Philly newspaper...I think I'm going to try and get me a J O B as a reporter:
Police said other witnesses have ruled out Smith and identified another unidentified suspect.
The first use of mortars could squeek by as acceptable, but the second time the word is used is totally incorrect.
I don't know who is proof reading this stuff !

SAN DIEGO (Reuters) - A convicted car thief who was assigned to a San Diego area state prison's fire fighting detail escaped in one of the prison's yellow fire trucks, prison officials said on Monday. "He got in one of our institution's fire trucks and drove away," said Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility public information officer Lt. Patrick Logan.
The escape, which happened on Sunday, came to attention of police when the San Diego County Sheriff's Department got a call that someone was having trouble parking the truck in a convenience store parking lot in Spring Valley, about 25 miles from the prison. "We received a call that there were two males in a yellow fire truck having difficulty maneuvering the vehicle," said Lt. David Gilmore, of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. "When our deputies arrived, they recovered the fire truck but the occupants had already run away."
Prison officials say that Thomas Frances Kelley, 51, was part of the prison's fire fighting detail and that he had been a model prisoner until Sunday night. "He had to be a pretty model inmate to be assigned to the fire house, which was outside the main prison perimeter," Logan said. Kelley was serving time for violating his parole and had been in the prison since November 2010, with a December 2013 planned release date, Logan said.
"Obviously, that's all changed now," Logan added. "I don't think he'll be in the outside perimeter again."
