thanks for correcting me... so I learn

Today is the day I have to go to the dentist. Hope there's no need for fillings or something... but it is so long now since I last go to the dentist. The toothache stopped though. I think maybe it was just a sensitive tooth for a few days.

I am a bit scared...

the dentist scares everybody.

it should be okay though, they have lots of stuff to numb the area first now.

Don't be scared, Vera! Dentists nowadays have lots of ways of keeping you comfortable.

I love my dentist. We have much in common. We gab a lot after my procedure.

a long time ago, an elderly man told me how when he went to the dentist....his thought was, as he sat there with his hand almost in the dentists lap.....
he wanted to tell the (male) dentist....if you don't hurt me, i won't hurt you

Thank you Constance. I know they do. But I didn't go to the dentist for too long and that's why I am a bit scared now.
