[blue moon]

freewheeling

Engine like a cornered lion roars
stops in ringing silence
broken by the sudden blow of breath
withheld no more.

Night phobics creeping
gnarled gnomes uncurling
rabid drool seeping

synapses freaking


The tattooed stranger
from the south
is supposed to be sleeping.

Through the silence creeps the echo of that lion roar.

O sister I see your hands shake.

Thanks pinz. I went into overdrive trying to make a contribution to the forum.
But the whole 'funeral' talk here led me down a strange path.
