No other rock band has ever sung better than this

It's not individually any of their best vocal performances (Roger got MUCH better over the three years following this video), but I think this is the best example of The Who's vocal harmonies/interplay. CS&N, the Beatles, whatever, don't even come close. The finale is mind blowing, especially John Entwistle.

It's also a fucking great performance in general.

The Who were one of few bands where every member could sing. And I think they did it much, much better than any other band with that distinction (especially the Beatles). John Entwistle is often overlooked as a singer, but he was great. From the super high backing vocals on A Quick One to the death growl in Boris the Spider, he was vital to the Who's sound and was a fantastic singer in his own right.
