Byron Bay Bluesfest

Depending on how long you stay and if you like pizza , there is an outstanding pizza place in the main street . I for get its names , but the pizzas are among the best in Australia.

Tats wants me to tell you all that she is at the beach right now....

it is raining. i am using the internet at the bus station
there is a crisis at home. a couple of my sons bicycles got stolen while he was away and now is punching stuff.
so my 16y/o is telling me


my phone is on charge, and it is raining.

the beach was as it should be.

they are getting ready for the second dylan show at the festival now. people were arriving as we were leaving.
it is raining, and so the field is wet
this is very expensive internet, especially when i have unlimited usage available on my dodgy phone

I'm three booths down from Tats......we just got back from the beach but then it started pouring with rain and it hasn't stopped - we still have a four-hour wait until we can catch the bus back to Brisbane

Bob was absolutely brilliant but I could hardly see him - Tat's moved down to the front - his set was very short.....

tent was great and I slept OK - Tats had a bad time in the tent

I've been edgy and paranoid ever since I left Sydney so it's been very hard being on buses and walking around also in the festival (when it got dark)

we stayed in a nice motel - and things were going according to plan until this morning

even though I've been so stressed - it was definitely worth it

I'm proud that I've been so brave......

anyone heard from Moony lately?

I couldn't wait to get out of Byron Bay - the pretentious hippie folk in their designer hippie gear with their de-caf soy latte etc and their skateboards and consciously alternative show-off hippie lifestyle......their tye-died, Pied Piper clothes that cost a bomb.......

I stuck out like a sore thumb - Tats didn't mind it so much

it was so commercial and fake - these people were ar..arseholes......

I'm glad I don't meet people like that on a regular basis......

there are pretentious people in Sydney but I don't have to interact with them....people at work are friendly and genuine

I think Tats liked the colour and excitement but most of all the BEACH.......

I can't wait to talk to Michael my ex and tell him what a bunch of wankers there was in Byron.....

Michael is really down to earth - hates all that fake crap......

Tats was very patient with me because I was totally freaked out.......

all this fake 'ambience' and 'atmosphere'

people judging you.......sent me pretty mad.......

Tats was a staunch bulwark and very understanding........she was a gem......

and now we're having a fight (not for long) - she said I was like Chrissie - and her son said that Chrissie was a bum

they had some kind of private joke where I was like someone they knew - I thought that was a bit rude........

then I said I was unique

and Tats said I was also like Gail (Gail and Chrissie not very unique)

it's getting a bit testy at the moment......she's angry with me for some reason.....

I can't wait to go home........I really can't wait to walk in my front door......

except for seeing Bob perform - I really wish I never came here........

it was a nightmare - and tonight was really bad with the bus situation.......

I'm glad I got a chance to let off steam.......

the mojo tent is the one that Bob appeared in. i worked my way right to the front,
30 feet from the stage, off to the left of him
catherine and I had spent the earlier part of the evening waiting for him to show...sitting on some seats at the front right hand corner the tent....near that letter J.

i don't know.....

i want to post it here on ATU, but not on youtube (or similiar) unless necessary

it is 3am here.

i will be taking catherine to the transit centre in the morning, we leave here at 9.30am
she then will get the train to the airport (i'll say goodbye at the transit centre), then she flies to sydney, then she has to work in the afternoon.


catherine will not be making anymore posts on my computer while she is visiting me, she won't have time.
she is asleep now, after our earlier conversation, which was nicer than the one she had with me on sunday night in the motel.....

i am not posting any photos of Catherine, she asked me not to.
