Bob is coming to Byron Bay...next weekend

Bob is coming to Byron Bay apparently.

so the byron bay bluesfest is next weekend,
and i am looking forward to it.

i am also looking forward to meeting Catherine for the first time, and for her to see where we live.

should be a good time....

i bought a new hat today, for the festival.
it is chocolate brown, woollen and broad brimmed.
that way it will be a sunshade and a beanie at the same time.

plus it has some flowers sewn onto the side of it, very suitable for Bob, and the Bay

it is Autumn here, so it can get very sunny and chilly at the same time.

you know, I've never been to a festival - I always wanted to go to Glastonbury but I didn't know anyone to go with

this is so exciting.......

and I know there are some great cafes and restaurants in Byron Bay

(not to mention bars....heheheeh......come on Tats you can drink sparkling water and sparkle )

our hotel seems decent too for Sunday night.....

I haven't really got everything organised - like packing and stuff

still have to look at my flight details.....

I'll miss the little boy.....but it's only four days

i know what to drink now so we will be okay.

i want to go everywhere and do everything, cram as much is as we possibly can, holidays only happen occasionally for me, so i might as well enjoy it while i can.
i love northern NSW, it is so tranquil, or it was the last time i was there.

i will have to check our bus times also, no point in leaving it to the last minute.

I think Byron Bay will be very busy - but I also want to cram in as much as possible........

we should really treat ourselves with nice restaurants and bars and cafes and shopping

I'll have plenty of money for the weekend - I think more than enough

and Catherine, please remember that i am still in the process of unpacking. lots of things are still not in their right places and so lots of bits are a bit untidy. the lounge room has had no work done in there at all, other than the basics, i have no wardrobes in my room yet, and all of my clothes and stuff is still in the boxes, the kitchen and my computer area are nearly finished, the bathroom is small but really cool. and outside is still wild and unlandscaped.

so, yes, we will have fun.

i would take my laptop and we could stay in touch, but the festival rules say it is best not to take anything too bulky.
and definitely not to take anything with intentions of leaving it in your tent.
i think that is what they said, there was a big set of introductions when i bought the tickets.
i might have to check back over it and see what it says.

it is only one bag though.
no, the battery would go after a couple of hours anyway.

maybe one of us might be able to post a photo from the festival...using mobile phones.
i wonder if there will be a no photos rule from the Dylan management.
that would be interesting because it is a 5 day event, cameras will be there.

don't worry about any mess at home - I won't pay any attention to it

I don't smoke in hotel rooms - I think you're not really allowed anyway......I'll just pop outside the door

the transit centre is the bus & train depot in the city.
you will get the train from the airport to the 'Roma Street Transit Centre'
i will meet you there.
then we will get the bus to my house.
