Re: What are you listening to now?
it is very early on sunday morning here, so i am listenimg to the crows, and other birds squarking and so forth outside.
they sit on my clothes line and poop all of my clean washing
and the kettle boiling here in the kitchen, for my morning cup of tea.
soon i have to take the youngest son to the doctor, he has some kind of ear infection, there is a lot of sickness around atm, it is cold and winter here.
have a good Sunday everyone.....
edit....he has swimmers ear infection, and now has a course of antibotics, eardrops and pain relief meds.
plus about 3 more days of school

Re: What are you listening to now?
the machinery digging the foundations and footings for the new unit complex that is being built near where i live.
big excavators and trucks
luckily, it is downwind of my kitchen so the diesal, dirt, dust ,and most of the noise will go away from us.
the pounding into the ground when they level it doesn't go away though, it just pounds
10 months of building and then the new people can move in, giving 12 families a subsidied home.
all for the benefit of the community.
this is the development that we were relocated for, a couple of months ago.
away from our comfortable home
into the house that is so different to what we had,
the complete opposite actually, door open back to front, and so many other changes.....
but I will live within because there is love here.
happiness is still lurking somewhere, probably in one of the unpacked boxes,
if i have a good sleep it might be found when i wake up
the house itself is wonderful, all old timber (was neglected but is now springing into life)
i really like it
.....it is just so small compared to what we had, & i am having 'a joyful time' adjusting to the new 'everything'
all for the benefit of the community.
in the word of Paladin...."Fuck".
anyway, it is morning tea time on the work site now, so it is quiet again although it still feels like it is rumbling.
Must be the Echoes..
