I've tried it both ways, as a simple link and with the URL function.

Maybe it's a restriction for new users to prevent them from spamming the forum?
Like: you're allowed to post links after your 20th post or something?

...sometimes I think you know people more authentically...behind the mask of an avatar they reveal more of themselves than they do in their day-to-day lives. Shocked

In some ways yes I ageee. But I am amazed at how often in forums or chat rooms people seem to direct so much anger at some one they barely know.
