Any ways, I was watching CNN, and they said Ground Turkey Burgers were the most bacteria-ridden and dangerous foodstuff. Looks like Abel Ferrara was right allalong, eh?

I watched the first series of the American comedy 'Eastbound and Down' which was highly amusing. Then I watched Hugh Grant on 'Question Time', which was more enjoyable than the majority of his movies. Him and Jon Gaunt should do more work together.

I always thot Ric Flair was lame back when he was active in the grappling circuits, but in retrospect he seems fairly mega. I guess you never really know what you have until it is retired.

I remember being furious that Flair won the Royal Rumble in 1992. The guy is awesome

You know, the period I lost interest in Prof Grappling was when the ruthless Clan MacMahon and their WWF took over the WCW and crassly, rapidly, and awkwardly dumped the top tier WCW grapplers into the now champeen WWF. I could never fully accept shopworn WCW chestnuts such as Flair, Lexx Lugerr, or The Punjab Pistol into my Grappler League of choice.

As for Minnesotan Eugene "Mean Gene" Okerland, to answer Tardigrad's query, the sobriquet "Mean Gene" is ironic because Eugene is the opposite of mean. And of course you know that the title was bestowed upon Okerland by the Minnesotan knowns as Governor Jesse The Body Ventura, the coulourful countrarian whose nickname is The Heart an Soul of Paul Michael Glaser's THE RUNNING MAN & Also Solid Contributor to John McTiernan's THE PREDATOR. Do the math.

I agree, the 'Invastion' angle was very dissapointing. I mean, where the hell was Sting?

The episode, "WOLF IN THE FOLD," derives from a short story by screenwriter R. Bloch, titled "Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper," published in 1943 in the magazine Weird Tales. In the story, two men discuss a history of serial murder and speculate that the Ripper may be a practitioner of occult arts whose murders are sacrifices to keep him eternally young.

Around the same time that Bloch was writing this TV episode, he was asked by Harlan Ellison to write a sequel of sorts to "Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper," extending the Ripper into the future. The story, "A Toy for Juliette," was published in the landmark Dangerous Visions anthology in 1967. Ellison wrote a continuation of Bloch's story for the same anthology, "The Prowler in the City at the Edge of the World."

The description of the "WOLF IN THE FOLD" entity bears a striking similarity to the Horla from Guy de Maupassant's short horror story "Le Horla". The story had been adapted for the film Diary of a Madman a few years before the Star Trek episode was produced.

I watched CBS programme THE MENTALIST dubbed in Portuguese. Is it any wonder that TV network CBS is America's most watched TV network?

Move over Miller-Boyett Productions!

or

Think Guntzelman/Sullivan/Marshall Productions meets Chuck Lorre Productions with a generous dash of Pinchot and two sprigs of Duffy. Then introduce a frothy discharge of Mike Post Fairlight CMI grooves and watch it simmer you know.

To Russians, French sounds like "Kva, Kva, kva."

Not because I say so--Alexander Pushkin said so. bounce

At the old Hotel Ukraina in Moscow, back in Soviet times, there was a notice in English on the inside of the doors:

"Do not remain strangers in your room after 11:00 o'clock."

Good advice.What a Face
