I'm just cut and pasted that.
But the bummer of that award is...(if you never been in the Military) when you get a medal you get promotion points. So thats means troops playing cyber games are getting more respect than troops in the field, who are actually getting shot at. If a line troop and the cyber guy have the same cut off score, the cyber guy will get the promotion.

I'm just about ready to give up on the US. Soon, the only moral position will be to work for its destruction as a political and economic entity. There's little to be gained by letting the NeoConfederates win and impose their will on an increasingly impoverished working class. At what point does it become a moral imperative to kill those who only value money and power? They have certainly killed plenty of people already, with their idiotic wars and social neglect and toxic capitalism. If we must have human sacrifice, and we certainly have that right now, perhaps we should kill the rich.

Hagel: US sending Army soldiers to Jordan
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel tells senators he is sending about 200 soldiers from an Army headquarters unit to Jordan to assist efforts to contain violence along the Syrian border and plan for any operations needed to assure the safety of chemical weapons in Syria.
The 1st Armored Division troops are largely planners and will replace a similar number of U.S. forces that have been in Jordan for some months. They will include specialists in intelligence, logistics and operations. Sending a cohesive headquarters unit will enhance the troops' ability to respond to any security needs, and will provide leadership personnel that could command additional forces if it's determined they are needed in the future.
The unit is based at Fort Bliss, Texas. Hagel was speaking to the Senate Armed Services Committee.

I think they do down the pride of Irish people all over the world who are more than happy to see this island being host to the G-8,” he said.
“And for you to stand up and criticize the American president for giving a continuation of support for a fragile peace process in Northern Ireland, where over 3,000 people lost their lives in 30 years, is a disgraceful do-down.”
Daly's pique appears to have been provoked by the White House's announcement last week that it will provide “military support” for the Syrian rebels after accusing Bashar Assad's forces of using chemical weapons.
Ireland has remained neutral since shortly after its independence from Great Britain in 1922, and was one of the most vocal critics of the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
“This is the man who is in essence stalling the Geneva peace talks [scheduled for next month] by trying to broker enhanced leverage for the Syrian opposition by giving them arms — and to hell with the thousands more who’ll lose their lives, or the tens of thousands who will be displaced,” Daly said. “This is the man who has facilitated a 200 percent increase in the use of drones which have killed thousands of people, including hundreds of children."
