I remember one time when Twood was in charge we lost about 1 1/2 days worth of posts one time--never did figger it out.

But when it's just onezies and twozies, the most likely explanation is that the poster just decided "nah, that's lame," and then deleted it.

Some posters delete most of their posts before they are answered.

Thanks pinz...I'm not worried about losing the posts...they were a bit shabby...it just woke up that crawling feeling like the ship might go down or something's lurking...we're probably all a bit shell-shocked still. I know I am. When I missed the posts I went back and deleted a further 3 in some sort of manic self-censoring fit What was that? (shrugs shoulders).

A toast is probably as good a remedy for shell-shock as anything...although I wish it was champagne in 3D.

But I have got a VB tinnie in the fridge and I'll crack one open right now (it's 10.30pm on Wenesday night here) and Ill drink to sj and the rest of us.
