If Mozart's Sister is about...er...Mozart's sister, surely that makes it an "artsy-fartsy" film, rather than a good honest 'movie'? Shouldn't this be in the "Last film I saw" thread?

It's true that the whole thing was in a foreign language, but I'm told that's considered normal in some countries.

Nonetheless, I'm willing to let the mods make the call if they think any posts need to be moved.

I just saw "Young Adult," which has been called "The most engaging feel-bad movie of 2011."

The screenplay is by Diablo Cody (a made-up name) who also wrote "Juno."

I didn't realize Diablo Cody was Minneapolis-based until I Wikied her just now.

Charlize Theron, although she's from South Africa, is getting very good at playing Minnesotans without overdoing it.

I didn't know the movie was set in Minnesota, until Charlize drove across the Hennepin Avenue bridge towards the Grain Belt sign (that's my old high school to the left behind the sign):
