Re: Hi To Tiny Montgomery
Thank you, doctor!
Have we met before? I don't seem to be able to keep track of the constantly changing monikers around here,
being the occasional visitor that I am.

That's a very nice thing to say, thank you!
I just don't spend as much time on internet forums as I used to, so... I can't promise anything.
It's nice to see that this place is still run by the cool cats (or the hepcats, as Mr. Pinz would probably put it), however.
AATU has just been founded in - when? - April? - and there are already so many great threads on here. Sure feels like home already!

...my television blew up about the same time as the computer and my dog can't carry a conversation, and I don't go back to work for a few more weeks so I've spent a lot of time here lately.
...small town and the newspaper comes over by bus once a week, so I'm grateful for the information and the distraction.
...that's a gripping avatar you have there.

That sounds a bit like the lyrics of a Tom Waits song if you don't mind me saying so
He would probably have blown up the dog instead of the TV set though...

Cheers! I've decided to use a different Sun Ra-vatar this time around (didn't have the heart to be parting ways with Sun Ra though...)

...I'm sorry that I don't remember your previous Sun Ra avatar. I've gone through dozens but I'm think I'll keep this one.

Re: Hi To Tiny Montgomery
You dig Tom Waits?
There appears to be a new album coming up but information is sparse (in case you haven't heard about it).
In fact, it's limited to this:
[Well, I just got the message that I'm not allowed to post links and e-mails. What's going on?
Anyhow, type "peek at a lyric from new tom waits' album" into google and the first result is what I'd like to share here]
Not his strongest lyric either.

Re: Hi To Tiny Montgomery
Thanks, I didn't know. I've just checked...this is a little more inspiring I think:
"I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy."

Well, well...signs and wonders! The dead stones speak! Very good to hear from you again, Tiny. Weren't you writing a novel? How are you getting on?

We've salvaged what threads we could from the original ATUI shipwreck. Your name crops up quite often, Tiny, particularly in Music section threads Pinz has beachcombed.
