The metro is reliable.
If you take a cab, they figure you got money.

"Russian Police" is a bit misleading. Suspect

These are the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (МВД), formerly known as the KGB. Shocked

For some people, it might be news that they're up all night to get lucky. Razz

They always used to stop the pinhed in the middle of the night and say "OTKUDA VY?" ["WHERE YOU FROM?"]

Nosey buggers. Mad

The Russians have removed the MVD "Get Lucky" video--luckily you all got to se it here first.
The Russians are protecting all of the opening ceremony video, until they can figure out how to turn it into KAPITALRazz

Since you asked my opinion, what I got to say is that having a good laugh at Putin on this occasion is pretty lame.

He's not acting "delusional" or "like a toddler."

He realized that Ukraine was going to join western Europe, he decided that if that was bound to happen then he had to keep his navy and his naval bases -- and that meant making Crimea part of Russia.

So that just happened, and the silly professor lady is chuckling and saying "he has lost" because a bunch of lame western Europeans aren't going to trust him anymore.

Won't have a veto in the UNSC anymore? Shocked  He's still got the veto--he just used it. Rolling Eyes

I think the "Pooty is cray-cray" thing gathered steam when Angie Merkels said she talked to Pootmeister on the horn, and he sounded nutballs, really bonkers.  Then John McCain said sure he's crazy, crazy like a KGB fox who can see several multidimensional chess steps ahead of the waffle brigade.

As is the case in many countries, the women in Russia are too good for the Russian men.

It's very difficult for the women to find A Man Like Putin Neutral

Wolf Blitzer says the photo of Poot wrestling the bear into submission is a staged fugazi, so who is the real Pooty?????? what is he really like and what are his secret dreams etc.

I said this on another thread, but I continue to believe that the real Pooty is the real Konchak--the one on the right:

truthfully Rodney put his comedy career on hold to raise his children by hisself, and when he finally hit the stratos sphere he was always there to help out struggling and beginning comics, and all this with a lifetime of angst stemming from his abusive and neglectful Eastren Europeen mother who drove his Vaudevillian father from the house ... u know nothing of Dangerfield, that isnt even his real name ... this is an out rage

that is being like Meta-Dog the dog who watches hisself on video feedback looping while Meta-Dog's owner put out the GregsList advert to have woman sit in tub of ramen noodle, but this all will have little bearing on whether Oprah Windfre Network will renew LINDSAY the show

I had a young kid over my house today (while his brother did some work) and showed him Bullwinkle and Rocky on DVD.

I told Lab Rat...remember watching this back in the day and she said 'oh yeah.'

I said do you remember is was banned in the USSR ?

I remember that in Tolstoy's "War And Peace" there is a chapter entitled "Natasha and Boris," but it's about Natasha Rostova and Boris Trubitskoy.

If Boris and Natasha had a love child, it would be Putin.
