Re: UK Political World Section please
If asked whether there are too many sections here for my own personal liking, I would reply: 'Yes'.
But in truth, I couldn't care less if there was a section dedicated to UK politics or not. So I'm fine with whatever.

But maybe it should be Politics in general, rather than UK Politics specifically.

Re: UK Political World Section please
The original vision of ATU was that it would be a politics-free zone.
There was one thread (not a whole area, that would be silly) for all political discussion, and members were expected to not type out their rants, but just to refer to them by number (after, we'd all heard them often enough).
So the old political thread looked something like this:
LJ -- rant #14.
pinhedz -- rant #9.
Twood -- rant #21
Uzi -- rant #2
etc.
This policy saved a lot of typing.

I have no object , but it should not be limited to one country.
Politics is fascinating and in all countries many dramatic political events occur on a daily basis.
It is important to take the world view .
There is another forum of which some of us are members which has a political secion which may well be just a United States political section as very little else is discussed there.
I hope we could take a far broader view.

But nobody knows what they're talking about, and they just say the same stuff over and over. That's why typed out rants should be banned and only number references permitted.
And, yes, international rant numbers should be welcome.
Rant #16, part b

Might I suggest a UK Outsize Political Gentlemen's Outfitters Section?
