okay....here we go again.

I just flushed my half a pack of golden benson & hedges cigarettes under running water (I have been known to rescue them and dry them in the oven, but I'll resist)

Work has finished so stress levels are diminished.
The last of my my influx of visitors left this morning, removing the threat of collateral damage.

I feel so sick from smoking...

I'm going to have a shower and brush my teeth.
Swallow some vitamin pills.
Go for a drive.
Keep myself busy.

It's king tide time...highest this afternoon.
I'll take the dog for a walk along the shoreline then, when it's cool, because it's too blistering hot now.

I'm so glad I found this place while I was researcing artistic mad people. I love you

When I smoked, this was the rolling baccy I used:

They later changed the design and, still later, put all sorts of scary messages on the packet:

I still just love the smell of a feshly opened packet. I love you

...the oven was too slow, so I heated a pan and dried the tobacco that way. Very strong. Tasted like turkish tobacco.

I wonder what turkish tobacco tastes like

Once I smoked cigarettes that had been wet with whiskey... they tasted awful (have I told this before? scratch )

Thanks so much vera and constance.
The vitamin B's helped to keep my mood stable.

I've been trying to eat sensibly and get plenty of exercise...on my walk today I think I saw a crocodile edgeing out of the water...I peered at it from a distance to make sure it wasn't a log. When it started out of the water I called the dog and hurried away. I remembered reading that over short distances on land they can overtake a horse. I ran then.

I wasn't wearing shoes. That seemed to make it so much worse.

I've never seen a croc so close to town. It's the king tides this month and the saltpans are full at high tide. Where I usually walk is under water.

I'm not going back till everything dries out Shocked

But where did you left your spear?

I can't remember the last time I was walking the dog and a crocrodile was coming out the water so I had to ran on my bare feet pirat
