Peter Cook's E.L.Wisty delivers on judges, miners, coal, God, creationism, and a million nude women.....

Coming up empty from the piggy bank?

Take A Pew- Alan Bennett's sermon from Beyond the Fringe.

Appropriate to follow Cook with Bennett:

AB recounted in his oration at Cook's funeral that every night during the run of Beyond the Fringe he would have to follow Cook's Miner/Judge monologue, leaving poor AB to cope with an audience so helpless with laughter that he could do nothing with them.

I'll try to post the AB funeral oration for Peter Cook in full on the "Peter Cook & Company" thread in this section.
