Log on problems

I am not having this problem, but i know Tats is and am wondering if it is because she is trying to post from her phone?

I'm back for the moment--but last Friday the problem was intermittent, so I might be shut out any time.

I think Tats' last post here was around 5 a.m. her time Sunday, while they were still in Ballina. The trouble started when she got to the festival Sunday noon-ish her time (she is 15 hours ahead of me time-wise). I wonder if her problem could be that the cell phone towers in the area are overloaded with so many people calling and texting and going online? Just a guess, i am NO tech person!

I just heard from Tatiana via email. She has had no phone reception for hours, but is able to email me from her phone. She can get to the ATU home page but cannot open any threads. So it appears to be a problem with the phone service/cell towers.

I was locked out most of yesterday, but back temporarily now.

Here's the latest--I logged on with Firefox today, I logged on with Explorer a few minutes ago, but still couldn't log on with Safari.

So I just installed Firefox on my home computer, and it seems fine.

Hi, i am just reading this for the first time.

i think my login troubles were caused by the towers near the festival and Byron Bay being too overcrowded.
i could login to ATU and ER quite succesfully when we were in the bus station internet service area yesterday afternoon.

i didn't try too much on the way home because the battery on my phone wasn't holding the charge either.
and then when i got home, i had full battery charge and my desktop pc.

i will try a login from my phone in a minute and see what happens.

thanks to tigerlily for keeping the communication line open for me to both here and ER.
it was a good thing we did in arranging that other email address before i left.

When I can't log on, enabling cookies fixes the problem.

Why would cookies have to be enabled?
