It's to be expected--they told Columbus that if he went down-under he would become an antipode and there would be no way back. Razz

Very nice--some similarity to parts of Florida and the Eastern Shore.

Pinhedz gives Sasha's guitar the broken finger stress test (it's a Martin, albeit low-end), playing (of course) "In Christ There is no East or West."

Although Sasha is of the Hebraique persuasion, he's a good sport about this.

For those of you who are fans and followers of Sasha's, he'll be in town to give a lecture tomorrow, so get there early for a good seat: Very Happy

"King Herod's Caesarea and American-Israeli Relations Today"

"King Herod's ancient "model" Roman city of Caesarea, located on the
Mediterranean coast between today's Haifa and Tel Aviv, can teach us about
our modern world order. We will tease out patterns from this great
ancient power that illuminate the contemporary Israel-U.S. relationship and
beyond. Speaker Alexander Murinson is a scholar of the Mediterranean with a
special expertise in the Turkey-Azerbaijan-Israel relationship."
