In 1947, the Miami Seahawks were replaced with the Baltimore Colts and the Buffalo Bisons became the Buffalo Bills.

In 1983 they started something called the United States Football League that was a spring league that played between the seasons of the National Football League. It was doing OK and had some popularity in places like Florida and Maryland, and it even signed some top talent like Big Jim Kelly and Herschel Walker.

Eventually, Donald Dump took over the USFL and he destroyed the league by 1986, because he is a terrible human being named Donald Dump.
