yeah, but "Coors Banquet Beer" works better for woop when he is watching Kelly Clarkson vids

I think the "Based on a True Story!" was thought to help in the marketing in this case

thought most of the publicity ended up focussing on "Leo gets attacked by a really convincing digital bear and has real ice in his beard" so it probably wouldn't have mattered it they changed Fitzgerald's name to Herlihy

Two things that do not belong in beer:

-- orange juice,

-- pumpkins.

I once heard and Englishman say "It's girly pop, innit?"

I figured I should excuse his political incorrectness, because he was a foreigner and didn't know any better.

Slander! I hate beer! All beer! I have never been a beer drinker especially a drinker of that nasty Coors piss that my pa used to drink. Now bring out the wise judge! Yaki must pay damages! Dang it. I knew that Kelly Clarkson post of mine would come back to bite me in the arse. I have never watched a Clarkson vid. I only posted it to say whatever it is I  said about that pop song. Bring out the judge!

Now this tune and vid I will watch over and over again!

the beer i get from Costco, GB brand beer, was a NorCal micro a long time ago, then it became a medium macro, and now it is owned by an International Beverage Consortium, but it is still pretty good

I used to eat at Gordon Biersch from time to time, but the wine was generally mediocre.

I just saw "Hail Caesar."

I think Dalton Trumbo was probably in it, but I couldn't tell for sure which one he was. Suspect

I must say, those Jewish filmmakers are generally more than fair to the Catholics.

Fun fact--Hobie Doyle/Alden Ehrenreich was trained not by Yakima Canutt, but by Gliff McLaughlin:

Sally really was too old for the guy--she should have stuck with Abraham Lincoln.

I saw the Affleck vs Superman movie.

It seemed extremely solemn--all about being responsible and stuff.

I liked wonder woman best because she went in with such gusto (of course she was still fresh when the other two guys were pretty beat up):

Wonderwoman also triggered the only joke in the whole movie:

-- "Is she with you?"
-- "I thought she was with you."

such a hi-larious gag they used it in the trailer

FYI, Hashem rewarded Gal for getting preg and making another little Israeli - she was offered the role of Faora-Ul, General Zod's forgettable lady sidekick from MAN OF STEEL, but she turned it down because she was preg ... and after she was done being preg, then they gave her the role of Wonder Woman (alias Diana Prince) ... all part of Hashem's plan, now she is Earth's Sweet-Heart and Queen of Israel

[spoiler alert?] Not much suspense in this one--we kind of guessed it would be a downhill slide:

Hank's transformation into the Avenger, Drifter Luke, and his heroic sacrifice at the hands of Loki on the fire bridges of Assgard is a well-known tale, but the satisfaction is in the telling, perhaps.

Reminder: on May 6th, Miles Davis is War Machine, miles in the sky.

The trouble with these bio-pic movies is that they're so gloomy:

Actually better than I remembered: it still comes across like a Disney movie--but I like Disney better than I used to.

Also (since it's essentially a 90-minute music video) I wonder if it influenced Michael's "Bad" video.

Awesome poster. afro

Jane Austen wrote this about 1794 (or so).

She didn't try to publish it--maybe she thought it was too edgy?
