Wiki says:

The melody of "Ievan Polkka" is very similar to Savitaipaleen polkka, and in South Karelia the Ievan Polkka is also known as "Savitaipaleen polkka". The melody is also very similar to a folk dance from the area of Smolensk in Western Russia, which is known as Smolenskij gusačok ("смоленский гусачок"/"Small Gander in Smolensk").

Back before Svetlana, the balalaika's used to play something called "Karelian Finnish Polka."

Svetlana doesn't play that any more, but we do play Smolenskiy Gusachok.

The real name of the polka is "Ievan Polkka," which means "Ieva's Polka" (Eva's Polka).

But it is now known as "levan Polkka" everywhere outside of Finland, because in the San Serif font the capital "I" looks like an "l." Rolling Eyes
