William Shatner cautions investors about "Short Sale: There Goes the Neighborhood" and more

Post  Yakima Canutt on Fri May 31, 2013 3:31 pm

Mr. Shatner writes:

"I have been contacted by investors who are being solicited by a company named Intercept Films to invest in a movie called 'Short Sale: There Goes the Neighborhood.' The company’s claim is that I am involved in this project. They have a website and a video on YouTube making this claim. I have never heard of this company nor am I involved in any way with this company or production. My best, Bill"

A new Strek Next Gen documentary from William Shatner finally has a title, Wackydoodle.

Wackydoodle will “explore…[the] early years of power struggle between Roddenberry [and] Paramount.”

The name came from the atmosphere on the set of The Next Generation during its earliest days. “It’s all about power,” said Shatner, interviewed at last week’s Comic-Con. “It was so crazed and chaotic (on the TNG set), that someone referred to it as ‘wackydoodle.’”

Wackydoodle is expected to have appearances from some of the TNG stars, including Jonathan Frakes, Denise Crosby, John de Lancie, and Diana Muldaur (Dr. Pulaski).

“This one’s going to be better than ever,” said Shatner. “I am learning the process. Doing a documentary is like doing a story. You don’t know what the story is until you’re halfway through it. A killed B, I guess, and you’re able to sleuth it.

Shatner doesn't grow that problem, what the hell are you talking about? Shatner advocates outdoor activities like rock climbing and horse riding tournaments. If someone at a convention says "Star Trek is the most important thing in my life" Shatner will say "I'm very sorry to hear that." What the hell are you talking about, you aren't even knowing about Shatner

It's true Bill has a weakness for decadent foods, but this is balanced by a very active lifestyle - Bill is always keeping busy, Lenny says about Bill that if Bill doesn't have anything on his schedule between 4:30 and 5:00 then he will keep trying to schedule something for 4:45, you dont even know about Bill.

And to give advice and lessons Bill talks all about his exercise regimen for Star Trek One - The Motion Picture when he had to squeeze into this outfit-

you can take things any way and going on being rong but Shatner has done one hundred million times more things to defeat these obesity than you ever could.  Newsflashing: your hobby of net posting clips of Fatty McBlindblind the Dancing Ragtime Pastry Chef doesn't stem the obese tides

yerp, and what Balsabrainz may not realize is that you don't have to be obese to be at risk for heart disease or stroke, especially wit advancing age, hard 2 believe Balsabrainz could rebuke Shat cuz Balsabrainz is hradly setting the good example for mobile active lifestyles, did you know Balsabrainz spends most of the day organizing phonograph cylinders and misinterpreting graphs/charts?

And let's consider the Shatfacts- Shat encourages youths to go outside and explore:

Shatfact 2 & 3- Bill is a master equestrian and has won too many equestrian trophies, and Bill helps raise money to get retarded kids outside and or onto horses

For the past 23 years, William Shatner has spearheaded the HCHS to raise money for a worthy children’s charity.

It was back in the late 1980s that Shatner first watched an exhibition by children who were so severely handicapped that some of them could not hold their head up, yet there they were going through intricate exercises on the back of a horse. The program was sponsored by Ahead With Horses, a therapeutic riding group for handicapped children. When the exhibition was over, Shatner sat, deeply affected by what he had seen. "You can't watch these kids without knowing you have to help, somehow." And so, in March of 1990 came the birth of the first Hollywood Charity Horse Show. Soon, other charities in need of help were added, small, grass root charities doing big time jobs.

Today, the Priceline.com Hollywood Charity Horse Show Sponsored by Wells Fargo is an ongoing event that garners national press coverage.  On one special spring Saturday evening each year, the HCHS brings together world-class reining horses and riders in breathtaking slides and spins as they compete for top honors in their respective classes.  Then, as the sun sets, the much anticipated auction and music show put on by headline groups such as Brad Paisley, Ben Folds, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow and Randy Travis, kick off right after an amazing array of food & fun.  Come join us this April 27, 2013 for an uplifting and worthy event to support an important cause. This year's musical guest is Vince Gill.

If you would like to compete in this event please contact TrackOneEvents.com or call (714)444-2918.

and I am reminded of a rabble chant from the sixties:

Hey Hey Balsabrainz
How many tard kids did you save today?
What's that, you saved zero?
Shat saved a bunch, our pausing hero.

I think his rendition of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is inferior to the original.

stardate: august

A call from Kentucky artist Douwe Blumberg to William Shatner has led to plans for a cross-country motorcycle trip for the eighty-two-year-old Shatner.

“I said, ‘ooh!” said Shatner. “... a motorcycle for free ...”

I admire Shatner for wearing his feedcap front-frontwards:
