Hello asdf vera.

I'm in the library on the community computer...I couldn't believe my computer died just after the chat post to you last night. On the third joder, it just crashed.

...so no more late-night / all-night chats for awhile

...at least the library computer is reliably available (except on mondays)....but the library attendant is a compulsive talker and expects me to respond to her constant chatter It's a tiny library that forms part of a slightly larger Visitor Information Center. The tourists won't be here in force for a couple of months yet so it's nice and empty (except for the chatter).

Platero and I, and The Glass Castle, arrived in the mail yesterday.
It's like I got a birthday present on your birthday.

But enough about me...Happy Birthday my friend.

...I only have neighbours on one side of me and sadly we had a dispute over a horse and we don't speak to each other any more.
