Re: why? (hic)
Yesterday I had one of those moments in which I only cry and cry after drinking more than I should...
I remember the first time this happenned to me it was a festivity day in a town and it was already morning. I was crying as if I had lost someone and fell asleep on a bench. When I woke up I was alone (how nice... my friend ).

"I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy".
(Attributed to Tom Waits by Patrick Humphries in his Waits biography, but I suspect that the saying pre-dates Waits.)

Well, it certainly relieved Sir William Withey Gull's homicidal symptoms:

You know in Dublin I lived next to the old Jameson distillery... I thought of visiting it but never did
I have had more beer but still no liquor

I finally drank cava, beer and a bit of pisco (liquor from grapes). I never tried pisco before.

I've got a hangover which I'm treating medicinally with a "hair of the dog". Can't go over the top today though because I'm working the 12:00 shift on the 26th (Boxing Day in the UK).

But now it's the opposite... I feel happy (maybe because I'm still drinking)
What "hair of the dog" means here?
I eat dog's hair a lot (Leo's) hehe

The saying in full is "a hair of the dog that bit you the night before". It refers to curing a hangover by drinking a small amount of whatever gave you one in the first place.

^ yes, I think there's nothing better than beer for hangovers
Just make sure you drink enough to have to cure your hangover tomorrow also... and it would be an endless chain of hangovers followed by "a hair of a dog" followed by a hang over... no matter they'd fire you... you could go and live under a bridge with Tom Waits... Moony said that if I didn't have a house we could drink her bottle under a tree, I told her it would be a bridge instead and she liked the idea because a bridge means there's a river nearby
