Cath, are you still around?

I'd like to know what 2012 has in store for Wood Sheep (b. December1955).

I don't believe in horoscopes Chinese or otherwise, however I do have a book on it. This is what it says for Sheep in the year of the Dragon:-

"Hectic but sober year. The sheep's gains will be marginal and although there may be numerous disputes he is fortunate not to face any major calamity. The sheep will find it hard to accumulate money at this time, but he should ride out the storm admirably if he does not gamble or make drastic changes in his life."

Thanks, Nash. It sounds pretty accurate to me:

With the Year of the Dragon just one week old, the disputes and the money issues have started already. And oh dear, gambling on a drastic change in my life was EXACTLY what I was intending to do this year.

Let's hope you're right about the inaccuracy of horoscopes.

King Lear- Shakespeare. Act I sc ii:

EDMUND:

This is the excellent foppery of the world, that,
when we are sick in fortune,--often the surfeit
of our own behavior,--we make guilty of our
disasters the sun, the moon, and the stars: as
if we were villains by necessity; fools by
heavenly compulsion; knaves, thieves, and
treachers, by spherical predominance; drunkards,
liars, and adulterers, by an enforced obedience of
planetary influence; and all that we are evil in,
by a divine thrusting on: an admirable evasion
of whoremaster man, to lay his goatish
disposition to the charge of a star! My
father compounded with my mother under the
dragon's tail; and my nativity was under Ursa
major; so that it follows, I am rough and
lecherous. Tut, I should have been that I am,
had the maidenliest star in the firmament
twinkled on my bastardizing.
