Xmas parties. Bah! Humbug!

Today is "Black Friday", the day on which the largest number of pre-Xmas office and works parties will take place.

The Brits are incapable of drinking in moderation.

I'm dreading work tonight.

In previous years I'd had to deal with drunk and incapable passengers, spark out on the platform edge inches from the live rails, covered in vomit and/or lying in pools of urine.

The women are worst: high heels, excessive alcohol and steep staircases don't mix well.

Ho Hum. Happy Xmas.

I think it funny when I woman in high heels has drunk too much...
It isn't so funny when you're that woman, though... I have a pair of shoes that I don't know why make my feet go to one side or the other so I go like this when I wear them:




... especially if I'm drunk and I'm walking on paving stones. But I haven't fell down... yet

It was my Mum's christmas party last night. She came back in high spirits, I haven't seen her like this since my school leaver's ball (where oddly enough parents and teachers also attended)

Friday night was every bit as bad as I'd anticipated.

The worst of it was the the City workers- banking and finance industry drones. Put some booze inside these creeps and it's obvious that they regard transport workers as the dirt beneath their shoes.

If I did my job as badly as they do theirs, I wouldn't last long- and I wouldn't recieve a multi-million pound golden handshake for being useless either.
