...hi tats...pinz thinks the forum's gone into safe mode and the 'skin' has also changed for paladin and me.
(we compared notes in the 'calling hell' thread in Off Topic)

everything went back to normal except the size of the font

here in the 'post a reply' box....it is small

it is a different size on parts of the front page.

and the worst is
it is really large print on the thread...where we read it all

Everything looks the same as usual to me. No changes or lines.

the lines and other stuff has gone, that only lasted for a short time.

this is the font size ...it is really large (for me)

it happened during the time when the forum was getting itself back to normal.
everytime i refreshed, something had been fixed (eg. the smilie box changed back to the right hand side)...except the font size.

anyway, hopefully it is just a setting, and can be fixed.

...it lasted for a few hours. The font on my screen is still much larger as well. A lot of the settings defaulted. E.g. most posters at one time was about 2...a lot of such figures altered. The newest registered user all the time was admin. Hal Jones changed avatars in that time, I think

edit: the font's so large I feel like I'm shouting.

...most of the traffic was from the US, especially the east coast.

It's all hunky dory here. Looks like whatever it was only affected people who were logged on at the time. That'll learn ya, you Ozzies, logging on while us UK gentlefolk are innocently knocking out the ZZZs. Very Happy

^ Were you logged on at the same time as Tats and Moonie?

A possible fix for ya - if you're a Windows person, using Internet Explorer: hold down the Ctrl button and roll your scroll wheel back - if you're using a mouse with a scroll wheel. If you're lucky you should see a % figure at the bottom right of your screen getting smaller (thinks - can you see a % figure there? Is it 100% or something larger?)

Yeah I know how to do that but that makes EVERYTHING smaller (like your username and text under your avatar) and it's only the text in the post itself that is abnormally large.

And yes I was logged on when the layout changed and then changed back.
